1. Order Processing
Orders placed with Matjar Al Muslimeen are processed after successful order confirmation. Processing generally includes payment verification, inventory confirmation, packing and handover to the applicable courier or logistics partner.
- Orders are generally processed on working days, excluding public holidays or other days on which our operations or courier partners are unavailable.
- Orders placed during weekends, holidays or outside normal processing hours may begin processing on the next working day.
- Certain products or international shipments may require additional preparation, documentation or compliance checks before dispatch.
- Processing time and transit time are separate. An estimated delivery period generally begins after the shipment has been dispatched.
2. Shipping Coverage
Matjar Al Muslimeen ships orders within India and to selected international destinations, subject to destination serviceability, courier availability, applicable laws, product restrictions and our ability to fulfil the shipment.
Shipping availability may depend on the destination country, state or province, postal or ZIP/PIN code, product type, shipment weight and dimensions, customs requirements and courier serviceability.
International shipping options may not be available for every product or destination. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where we cannot legally or reasonably ship the goods to the requested destination.
3. Domestic Shipping
Orders delivered within India are shipped using available domestic courier or logistics partners based on destination, serviceability, shipment characteristics and the shipping method selected or assigned.
Applicable shipping charges and available delivery options are displayed during checkout where supported.
Orders meeting an applicable free-shipping threshold may qualify for free standard shipping. Any threshold, promotional shipping benefit or shipping charge applicable to an order will be determined at checkout.
4. International Shipping
International orders are shipped through available international courier, postal, freight or logistics services. Delivery times and charges vary according to the destination, shipment weight and dimensions, service selected and customs requirements.
- International shipments may require customs declarations, commercial invoices, recipient information and other documentation.
- Customs authorities or courier partners may request additional information from the recipient before releasing a shipment.
- International shipments may be inspected, opened or held by customs or other government authorities in accordance with applicable law.
- Customs clearance can extend the delivery time beyond the original courier estimate.
- Certain products may be restricted or prohibited from import into particular countries.
5. International Duties, Taxes & Customs — DAP and DDP
International orders may be shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) or DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. The applicable arrangement may depend on the destination, courier service, order or shipping option and will be communicated where applicable during checkout, order confirmation or shipping arrangements.
DAP — Delivered at Place
For orders shipped on a DAP basis, Matjar Al Muslimeen arranges transportation to the agreed destination, but import clearance and destination import charges are generally the responsibility of the customer or recipient.
The recipient may therefore be required to pay customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST, brokerage, clearance fees, disbursement fees or other charges imposed by customs authorities, governments or the courier before or upon delivery.
DDP — Delivered Duty Paid
For orders expressly shipped on a DDP basis, Matjar Al Muslimeen is responsible for the applicable import duties and taxes covered by the DDP shipping arrangement and for arranging import clearance as required under that arrangement.
The amount paid by the customer may therefore include applicable duties, taxes or customs-related charges collected by us as part of the order or shipping price.
Customs rules and assessments are controlled by the destination authorities. Where charges are payable by the recipient, we cannot guarantee or control the final amount assessed by customs, government authorities, brokers or couriers.
6. Customs Clearance & Customer Cooperation
International customers must cooperate with customs authorities, courier partners and Matjar Al Muslimeen where information or documentation is reasonably required to complete import clearance and delivery.
- The recipient may be asked to provide identification, tax information, import information, authorization or other documentation required by the destination country.
- The customer must provide accurate recipient contact information so that the courier or customs broker can contact them when necessary.
- Failure to provide requested information, complete customs formalities or pay charges applicable to a DAP shipment may result in delay, storage, abandonment, destruction or return of the shipment.
- Any additional costs resulting from the customer's failure to complete their customs obligations may, where permitted by law, be deducted from an applicable refund or charged to the customer.
7. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, where applicable, are displayed during checkout or otherwise communicated before the order is confirmed.
- Domestic orders meeting the applicable free-shipping threshold may qualify for free standard delivery.
- Orders below the applicable free-shipping threshold may include a delivery charge.
- International shipping charges are generally calculated according to destination, shipment weight and dimensions and available courier service.
- Express, expedited or special delivery services may carry additional charges.
- DDP international shipping charges may include applicable duties, taxes and customs-related costs.
The final shipping amount displayed or agreed before confirmation will apply to the order unless an adjustment is required because information supplied by the customer was incorrect or incomplete.
8. Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery estimates depend on the destination, courier partner, customs clearance, product availability and shipping method selected.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
- Delivery may take longer for remote or difficult-to-service locations.
- International orders may experience additional delays during customs clearance.
- Weather, public holidays, transportation disruption, customs inspections, government action or courier operational issues may affect delivery.
- Certain high-demand or specially prepared products may require additional dispatch time.
9. Shipment Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided after the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after the courier receives the shipment.
International tracking may also show periods without an update while a shipment is in transit between countries or undergoing customs processing.
Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking updates and respond promptly to any delivery or customs-related request from the courier.
10. Delivery Address & Recipient Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping and recipient information when placing an order.
- The address should include the recipient's correct name, telephone number, street address, city, state/province/region, postal/ZIP/PIN code and country, as applicable.
- International customers must provide any additional recipient information reasonably required for customs or delivery.
- We may not be able to modify the delivery address after an order has been dispatched.
- Additional shipping, correction, interception, customs, return or re-delivery charges caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information may be borne by the customer where permitted by law.
11. Failed Delivery & Undeliverable Orders
A shipment may be considered undeliverable or may be returned to origin if delivery cannot be completed.
This may occur for reasons including:
- The recipient is unavailable after delivery attempts.
- The recipient cannot be contacted.
- The delivery address is incorrect or incomplete.
- The customer or recipient refuses the shipment.
- The recipient fails to provide information required for customs clearance.
- The recipient fails or refuses to pay import duties, taxes or other charges applicable to a DAP shipment.
- The shipment cannot be imported because of a destination-country restriction.
- Customs, the courier or another authority determines that delivery cannot be completed.
Where an undeliverable order is returned to us for reasons attributable to the customer or recipient, the original shipping charge, return-to-origin transportation, customs charges, storage charges, duties, taxes, brokerage fees or other costs incurred in recovering the shipment may, where permitted by law, be deducted from any refund due.
If re-shipping is possible, the customer may be required to pay the new shipping cost and any other applicable charges before the order is dispatched again.
12. International Returns
International returns are subject to our applicable Returns, Exchanges and Refund policies together with the additional conditions described in this Shipping Policy.
- Customers should contact us before sending an international return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
- A return sent without authorization or contrary to our instructions may experience customs delays or additional charges.
- Unless the return results from an incorrect, defective or otherwise eligible issue attributable to us, international return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer.
- The customer is responsible for securely packaging the returned goods and, where applicable, providing accurate return customs documentation.
- Refunds may be processed after the returned goods have been received and inspected, subject to the applicable return and refund policy.
Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges and similar amounts originally paid to foreign governments, customs authorities, brokers or couriers may not be refundable by Matjar Al Muslimeen where those amounts cannot be recovered by us.
Where an international return is caused by an incorrect, damaged, defective or materially non-conforming product supplied by us, we will handle the eligible return, replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns, Exchanges and Refund policies and applicable law.
13. Refused International Shipments
Refusing an international shipment does not automatically constitute an approved cancellation or return.
If a recipient refuses a shipment, fails to complete customs clearance or, for a DAP shipment, refuses to pay applicable import duties or taxes, the courier may return, hold, abandon or dispose of the shipment depending on local rules and courier procedures.
Where the goods are successfully returned to us, any refund will be determined after accounting for the condition of the returned goods and any non-recoverable shipping, return-to-origin, customs, duty, tax, storage, brokerage or other charges, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Cash on Delivery Orders
Cash on Delivery may be available for eligible domestic orders and serviceable locations within India.
- Cash on Delivery availability is determined during checkout.
- Additional Cash on Delivery charges may apply where displayed.
- Customers should ensure that they are available to receive and pay for the shipment upon delivery.
- International orders generally require prepaid payment unless a Cash on Delivery option is specifically offered during checkout.
15. Damaged, Incorrect or Tampered Packages
If a shipment appears visibly damaged, opened or tampered with at the time of delivery, customers should inspect the package where reasonably possible and permitted by the courier.
If you receive a damaged, incorrect, defective or materially affected product, please contact our support team promptly. We may request photographs, videos, packaging images, shipping labels or other reasonable evidence to investigate the issue.
Eligible cases will be handled in accordance with our Returns, Exchanges and Refund policies.
16. Missing or Delayed Shipments
If a shipment has not arrived within the expected delivery period, customers may contact our support team with their order and tracking details.
We may coordinate with the courier or logistics partner to investigate the shipment. Resolution times may depend on the courier, customs authorities and the circumstances of the shipment.
17. Order Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If a dispatched order is refused or returned to origin, applicable outbound shipping, return shipping, return-to-origin, customs or other non-recoverable charges may be deducted from an applicable refund where permitted by law.
International customers should contact us before refusing a shipment because refusal may result in additional customs, storage and return charges.
18. Restricted & Prohibited Imports
Different countries maintain different rules regarding the products that may be imported.
We may decline to dispatch, cancel or modify an order if we reasonably believe that the product cannot legally or practically be shipped to the destination.
For international orders, customers should check applicable import restrictions before ordering. This may be especially important for products subject to ingredient, material, cosmetic, fragrance, religious-product, labelling or other destination-specific regulations.
19. Risk and Delivery Confirmation
An order will generally be considered delivered when the courier's tracking system records successful delivery to the provided address, recipient or other authorized delivery point, subject to applicable law.
Customers should contact us promptly if tracking shows that a shipment has been delivered but it has not been received.
We may request reasonable information and cooperate with the courier to investigate disputed delivery claims.
20. Events Beyond Our Control
Delivery may be delayed, suspended or interrupted due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruption, strikes, war or civil disturbance, government action, border closures, customs delays, regulatory action, courier operational issues, emergencies or other force majeure events.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in such circumstances, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or specific delivery timelines where such events occur.
